INTRODUCTION
This package is a self-contained mini-unit that teachers can use to inspire students and have them think critically about a social sustainability issue. It is aimed at students from Year 6 to 9. It is perfect for remote learning. Using a variety of supplied short articles and video clips students explore different viewpoints on the PlayPump, decide how sustainable it is, and whether the project should continue. The tasks can be done with pen and paper as a teacher-led activity, or completed independently online. Students would typically complete the task over several class sessions. |
